Synopsis

A collection of twelve spine-tingling short stories of cursed curios that bring misfortune, madness and death upon their owners, penned by modern masters of the weird and uncanny.

Sometimes your possessions own you.

Delve into twelve terrifying stories that reimagine a tradition that stretches back over a century to W.W. Jacobs’s “The Monkey’s Paw.”

Discover the antique brooch possessed by a malignant spirit; the sewing needle that demands a bloody sacrifice; a cardboard cutout animated by the restless dead; a secret so unholy that even its likeness has the power to send people mad. Unhallowed Gifts proves that fear comes in many forms—and not all gifts are given with your best interests in mind.
