What is Soundbooth?

Soundbooth is the ultimate listening experience for audiobooks. No subscriptions and no limits—just great stories, available when you want them.

Do I need an account to listen?

Not always! You can listen to free productions in the app without an account. To purchase and access premium audiobooks, you'll need a free Soundbooth account.

How do I listen to my audiobooks?

In the app: Stream or download your purchases for offline listening.
On the website: Stream your purchases directly—downloads are only available in the app.

Is Soundbooth a subscription service?

Nope. No monthly fees, no credits—just buy what you want, when you want.

Where can I download the Soundbooth app?

The app is available on iOS and Android. Get it now and start listening instantly.

Can I try before I buy?

Yes! We offer a large selection of free productions you can listen to in the app—no account required. If you're interested in a premium title, most productions include a free sample so you can preview the narration before purchasing.

Website and App

Can I download my purchases as .mp3s and listen in an external audio player?

No, audiobooks can only be downloaded and played within the app. We're exploring options for external downloads in the future.

How do I listen to my purchases without an internet connection?

To listen offline, download your audiobooks in the app:

From your Library: Open a series, select a title, and tap the download button.
From the player: Tap the three-dot menu next to the title and select "Download."

Once downloaded, the audiobook will be available offline. Offline listening is only supported in the app, not on the website.

Can I gift one of your titles to someone?

Not yet, and we know that's frustrating. Gifting isn't available right now, but it's something we want to offer in the future. We appreciate your patience while we work on it.

Do you offer a subscription model?

No, we don't have a subscription model at this time. Our platform operates on a pay-per-product basis—each title is purchased individually. For series with multiple seasons, you can usually buy an entire season in one transaction, often at a discounted rate.

Tech / Troubleshooting

My audio keeps pausing while I'm listening. How can I fix it?

If your audio pauses or skips, it's likely due to an unstable internet connection. The best solution is to download the audiobook for offline listening:

From your Library: Open a series, select a title, and tap the download button.
From the player: Tap the three-dot menu next to the title and select Download.

Once downloaded, the audiobook will be available offline, and playback will no longer be affected by your internet connection.

I've logged into the app, but my purchases aren't in my library. How do I restore them?

If your purchases are missing, it may be due to a local data issue. Try the following:

Ensure you're logged in with the correct email.
Restart the app and check again.
If the issue persists, delete and reinstall the latest version of the app.

Still missing purchases? Contact us with:

Your order number(s) for the missing items
The email associated with your Soundbooth account
Your app version (found in your Profile, at the bottom)
Your device make, model, and OS version

I think I found a bug. What should I do?

If you've encountered a bug, we appreciate your help in reporting it. First, make sure you're using the latest version of the app—some issues may already be fixed.
