Synopsis
This is a book about Darkness.
Living in the pyramid, deep underground, light is a limited resource hoarded by the wealthy. When farmer Iyara meets Elaava, she shows him a way around the stranglehold the big companies have on oil and wax, giving him a way to provide light to the poor and buy medicine for his family. But when one company hires a Private Eye, Faren, Iyara’s scheme risks being discovered. As Faren digs closer to the truth, Iyara clings to the hope he has to light up the dark.
