Synopsis

In this world, a lucky few are born with special powers based on a single word. That word is called an "epithet." Each epithet is linked to the user's soul, and no two people have the same one. By tapping into their word, epithet users—the inscribed—can do amazing things that ordinary people—mundies—could only dream of! After a long week of dealing with criminals, wizards, and panic attacks, 12-year-old Molly Blyndeff returns home to the toy store her family owns and operates for some much-needed rest. Unfortunately, her superpowered older sister, Lorelai, has other plans in mind. After a nasty argument, Molly and her friends end up trapped in a world created by Lorelai's epithet, "Augment." Now they must travel through her wonderland in order to confront Molly's bratty older sister . . . and the only weapon they have at their disposal is Molly's considerably less intimidating epithet, "Dumb". The road is fraught with danger, with everything from ogres to spelling tests standing in their way . . . but the thing both sisters are most afraid of is the idea that they might never be close again. Prison of Plastic is the official continuation of the beloved web-animated series Epithet Erased, which can be streamed in its entirety on YouTube and VRV. This sequel is the story of two sisters in a broken home struggling with their magical powers, themselves, and each other. Great audiobook!!

Amazing story and voice acting, the music just adds a lot to it, and its a great way to continue after the first launch that was an animated series since it keeps the same vines and I LOVE IT!!

I love Epithet Erased!

I love this series and its characters very much and I’m so glad the story got to continue even without the proper budget for an animation. The narration for this book was just so colorful and beautiful and really did such a wonderful job describing what the characters were feeling at any given time. I can’t wait to hear more from Epithet Erased and I give it five big booms! 💥💥💥💥💥

PREPARE TO CRY YOU'RE HEART OUT * Lightning* *Pipe organ*

But seriously if you loved season one on YouTube, and don't lie I know you did, then this will absolutely top that beyond what you think is possible. Adventure, comedy, action, drama, it's all there in spades. The narration and voice acting are absolutely melodic and gorgeous to listen to. This is actually the first time in all my 20 years of living I've written a review for something and I'm glad it's this story that got me feeling this way. 10/10 would recommend to random strangers I pass on the street or shout it from the rooftops of Joburg.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Sobbing exploding healing omg this is peak oh my go—

Whimsical dream worlds which hide psychological trauma and reflect the skewed perspectives of their source?? And some healing and stuff about escaping abusive situations??? Queer people as well??? Neurodivergent solidarity??? PEAK omg this might sound scatterbrained and really that’s cause it is but I’m sitting in my appartment ugly crying about stuff being a metaphor and honestly? What are stories for if not that? Additionally, all of the voice acting was incredible and I’d throw more money at this book if I could just because everyone did a good job. The sound design was incredible, the effects added to voices when needed were wonderful and the music was all amazing. I’m running out of synonyms for “great” so I’ll call this review here. Wonderful work everyone involved! I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could!
