The enemy may have been defeated but Captain William West and his Adaptive Military AI, Ned, are on the hunt for a weapon more powerful than anything they had seen during the war: codenamed Extinction.

Remnants of the hostile Cult fleet protect a small base on a distant planet that William suspects has intel on the weapon, but getting to it will be no easy task. It will require all his skill and the support of his paired AI to survive long enough to uncover the truth.
