After the calamitous conclusion to their first adventure, Oli and his cousins are ready for a "peaceful retirement." Which, in this case, is a concept they've critically misunderstood to mean, "get mixed up in a prophecy to topple the God-King."

Meanwhile, renowned lawlock Thaddeus just wants to do his job (and get paid really, really well for it). There's no one better at finding Chosen Ones and cease-and-desisting them from tyrant-toppling activities. Unfortunately, his newest assignment pits him against his greatest opponent yet: slimy little goblins.
