Garralosh: Birth of the Beast

finished all 7 of the Chrysalis books.... now waiting for the 8th installment. this tiny morsel was good, but I needs MORE.

It's interesting so far, but the content of the story is sort of spinning its wheels a bit..

We demand more!!!

good little short story to fill in some of the info for where garalosh started.

Way to go! Loved it all.

Unfortunately, this story does not give us a lot of the things we would want from a short story of a powerful side character. it barely gives us information on Molly and just gives us a crocodile version of book one first couple of chapters. the story feels short and incomplete. that said, the production, sound and quality of the audiobook is as good as all the previous audiobooks.

This didn't explain Garalosh at all. You almost completely neglected her motivations. Why was she and so much pain from her human memories? Shirley she should have had several fights that she struggled with and lost. In Chrysalis you kept saying that she had experienced too much pain to look back. Additionally, you didn't even mention her desire to build a family or create children in her image. What was that about?

As the title says, Its a great little short about how Garralosh came to be. Summary was well done, same great work and quality as the rest of the series this far!

I love the idea of doing short stories about different characters backgrounds!! I just wish it was a longer!! Keep churning out gold! And great narration!!
