Overwork, Perspective, and Fashion

This series is such a fun mix of sci-fi, fantasy, romance, and completely ridiculous humor. I really enjoy the futuristic setting with the robots, VR, and technology, but it’s the little bits of humor throughout that really make it entertaining for me. Things like the “‘Merica” jokes and the ongoing British tea vs. American “bean water” rivalry genuinely make me laugh. 😂 The humor never takes itself too seriously, and combined with the wonderfully bizarre premise and characters, it makes these books incredibly fun to read. Definitely one of those series where you never quite know what weird thing is going to happen next—and I mean that in the best possible way. Five stars!
