Agatha Raisin and the Walkers of Dembley

After six months in London, Agatha Raisin returns to her beloved Cotswold village—and to her handsome neighbor, James Lacey. Unfortunately, James may not be quite as eager to see her as she is to see him.

Before long, however, Agatha finds herself distracted by her other great passion: solving mysteries. A woman named Jessica Tartinck has been found dead in a lonely field nearby. An enthusiastic hiker, Jessica had made plenty of enemies among wealthy landowners by insisting on her walking club’s right to cross private property.

Determined to uncover the truth, Agatha teams up with James to investigate. Their search leads them through a tangled web of suspects, many of whom seem to have had both the motive and the opportunity to kill Jessica.

But tracking a murderer can be just as dangerous as losing your heart. As Agatha and James follow the clues, they find themselves increasingly at risk—and they’ll need to watch every step if they hope to survive.
