Kellee, Talen, Sirius, Sota, and Kesh. Together, they are stronger, but there are forces on Faerie who do not want the worlds saved, forces that would see the Messenger and her crew torn apart.

Queen to Faerie’s new king, Messenger and more to the saru, lover to some, and a weapon to others; but who is Kesh Lasota really? A guiding light or an unwitting puppet?

Answers are coming.

The time for lies has passed.

And Kesh will soon learn some battles can’t be won alone.

The mind-blowing Messenger Chronicles comes to its explosive conclusion in Her Dark Legion.

Intense!

This was a nail-biter up until the very end. In fact, I was poised to throw my phone down in disgust at the very end because I was so certain that the worst had happened to one of the characters. What a hard-won HEA this book was. As far as the performance, the voice actors were exceptional! (Especially with the variation among male voices.) I was unsure about the sound effects at first, but by the end of the series they had begun to blend in for me. It was jarring at first because it’s rare in the audiobooks I typically listen to. Also, the sound effects were better adjusted to be more background effects than in some of the earlier books in the series. The audio also seemed MUCH better quality than some of the others in the series. One of the earlier ones was dreadful with constant sound variations from sentence to sentence where it was obvious that edits had been inserted. This was a wonderful series in spite of the steamy content which I’m not a fan of. (I’m sure that for others that’s a feature and not a downside lol.) I’ll definitely keep an eye out for audiobooks by this production company in the future because these were excellent!
