Telented voice delivery, and a well written story. Kept me riveted all the way through. My only downvote (mirrored in another comment) a couple of the enhanced voiceovers were impossible for me to decipher. i appreciate the commitment to over-the top delivery in limited situations, but it was more than I could understsnd

From the beginning to the end ive been attached, the ending was amazing and really shows the build up of the entire story, looking forward to more books like this

Great story. One issue is sometimes they use some kinda voice effect for certain chars like banksy near the end. Had to rewind several times sometimes when those voice effects happened throughout the book.

Thanks for the great read. I enjoyed my time with it.

Got to listening to this after dungeon crawler Carl. It’s quit different and a bit more metal. You’ll know after the groundlings and the goat. Highly recommended for the immersion version!

Definitely not DCC. This story encompasses a juxtaposition of redemption and revenge that doesn’t align. The main character’s development seems fractured and ends on a hopeless and depraved note. The opportunities he has to choose kindness, mercy or grace are disappointingly not taken, though the story feels like he should. Gratuitously gory and not in a good way. The voice acting and sound production are good (disturbingly so at times). As a huge DCC fan, this was just not my cup of tea. On the off chance you read the comments from your readers (which you totally shouldn’t because you’ve got much more important things to do and besides, I’m just being an armchair quarterback anyway) I adore your mind, Matt! You’re the best and if you need to write the occasional terrible dark monstrosity, you do you! I’ll just actually listen when Carl and Donut pop on to warn that there’s something icky about to happen.
